Compression Packing Cubes
-
Compression cubes will always have 2 zips, can also be used as standard cubes, by using only one zip
-
To pack this type of cube, fold everything in half and if necessary half again, this gives you a flat item and takes no time at all
-
If you really enjoy packing and have the time, then use my folding for a shelf method…..see my YouTube tutorial Folding Basics
-
Be careful, using the folding technique in a compression cube will crease you clothes more than if you fold them flat
-
Use both zips to make your cube a whole lot flatter
-
Once compressed using the flat folding method, they will stack one on top of the other

Standard Cubes
-
Start by using my folding tutorials available on my YouTube Channel
-
If you already use this folding method at home, then just take your clothes straight from your drawers and put them straight into your cube
-
My folding method works for all sizes
-
If you find you have room on top of your folded clothes, then you could lay a flat folded shirt on top of them (don’t forget the collar needs support from it’s fold, so a flat fold is best). You could also add another layer of small items such as underwear, costumes or bikinis
-
Pack the cubes side by side in your suitcase, you probably won’t have any room to double stack as with the compression cubes
-
The beauty of packing in standard cubes is when you get to your destination, just un zip, lift out of your suitcase, pop your lid underneath and place in a drawer or on a shelf..done!
-
When coming home, just rearrange your clean from dirty and unpack in the same way
