Chocolate chip shortbread is incredibly easy to bake, just a few basic ingredients, no fancy equipment, and you’ll have delicious, buttery treats in no time!

Ingredients:
175gbutter (room temperature)
175gplain flour
75gGround almonds
75ggicing sugar
1tspvanilla extract
100gchocolate chips
Instructions:
Pre heat your oven to 180 degrees celsius and line your baking tray
In your stand mixer, add all your ingredients and combine, BUT don't over mix
Stir in your choc chips
Flour your surface then roll the dough to around 3mm thick
Using a cookie cutter of your choice cut out your shortbread and place on the pre lined baking tray
Bake time depends on the size and thickness of your shortbread, however bake for around 10- 15 minutes, or until the edges start to brown.
