Very Easy Rib Sauce

This is a true family favourite that we’ve been making for years. The sweet and spicy rib sauce is packed with flavour, takes just minutes to make, and the best part is that it uses simple store cupboard ingredients you probably already have at home.

Cook Time 30 minutes

  • 2 tbsp White wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Tomato puree

  • 2 tsp English Mustard Or any other type you have in your cupboard

  • 2 tbsp Worcester Sauce You can substitute with Brown Sauce

Instructions:

  • Mix all your sauce ingredients together
  • Pour over the ribs, ensuring they’re evenly coated in the sauce

  • Roast for 20 Minutes on 180, then turn up your oven until you have crispy well done rib, BUT keep your eye on them!!

Tips / Notes

These measurements reflect how I like my sauce, you adjust yours to taste. Add more Worcestershire or soy sauce for extra savoury heat, or increase the honey or golden syrup for a sweeter finish. Keep tweaking the balance until it tastes just right for you.
These ribs are delicious whether cooked in the oven or on the barbecue, and they pair perfectly with rice, couscous, or a fresh, crisp salad.
