My Very Easy Brownies Recipe

My famous very easy brownies are one pot, can be made as chocolately as you’d like and are perfect for packed lunches.

INGREDIENTS

175g dark chocolate

175g butter (Flora plant butter works for dairy free option)

250g caster sugar

115g plain flour

3 eggs

2tbsp vanilla extract

pinch of salt

METHOD

1. Pre-heat your oven to 180 degrees celsius and line a 9×9 brownie dish/tray with baking paper

2. In your saucepan melt the dark chocolate and butter together over a very low heat.

3. Add the caster sugar and stir until combined, then leave to cool for a couple of minutes before moving to step 4.

4. Beat in your eggs one at a time and add the vanilla extract.

5. Add the flour and stir in until smooth. To start it will seem lumpy but keep going I promise it will smooth out!

6. Pour your mixture into your brownie tin and bake for 30mins until the top has risen and cracked.

7. Leave to cool, you can east whilst till warm and gooey or put in fridge for a few hours to firm.

If you want your brownies to be more chocolatey then add a bag of chocolate chips in step 5. You can also get creative and add your favourite chocolate bars to the top before baking if you wish.

Enjoy guys and let me know how you get on!
