Very Easy Chocolate Chip Cookies


Try my super easy cookie recipe and learn a great basic method that you can adapt for future cookie treats!




150g self raising flour

100g butter

75g caster sugar

75g light muscovado sugar

1 egg

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

100g chocolate (any you like, in any form)



  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees celsius
  2. Cream together the butter and sugars
  3. Add the egg, vanilla extract, and flour and combine
  4. Add your chosen chocolate
  5. I use a 5cm ice cream scoop to portion onto a lined baking tray. Bake for 8 mins or until slightly golden brown on the top.
  6. Leave to cool on a rack and enjoy warm or store in a cookie jar.

Replace the chocolate chips with mini eggs for the perfect easter treat!
