
Very Easy Chocolate Chip Shortbread
Chocolate chip shortbread is incredibly easy to bake, just a few basic ingredients, no fancy equipment, and you’ll have delicious, buttery treats in no time!

Equipment:
- Stand/hand Mixer
- Kitchen Scales
- Measuring Spoons
- reusable parchment paper
- Baking Tray
- Wire Rack
Ingredients:
- 175 g butter (room temperature)
- 175 g plain flour
- 75 g Ground almonds
- 75g g icing sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 100 g chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Pre heat your oven to 180 degrees celsius and line your baking tray
- In your stand mixer, add all your ingredients and combine, BUT don't over mix
- Stir in your choc chips
- Flour your surface then roll the dough to around 3mm thick
- Using a cookie cutter of your choice cut out your shortbread and place on the pre lined baking tray
- Bake time depends on the size and thickness of your shortbread, however bake for around 10- 15 minutes, or until the edges start to brown.
Tips / Notes
If you’re not a chocolate lover you can absolutely leave this ingredient out.
