
Very Easy Tuna Pasta
I love tuna pasta it's so easy to make and takes no time at all, it makes a great light lunch especially now as we head into spring/summer
Makes: 6 Servings
Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 13 minutes
Equipment:
- Large bowl
- Table Spoon
- Colander
Ingredients:
- 200 g Pasta any shape
- 3 tins Tuna in Spring Water
- 1/2 Red Onion
- 3 Spring Onions
- 1/2 tin Corn
- 5 tbsp Mayonnaise
Instructions:
- Pre cook your pasta according to the packet aprox 11-13 mins
- While your pasta is cooking, dice your onion, slice the spring onions and drain the corn
- Drain your pasta and cool it down with cold water so its stops cooking
- Add the pasta to a large bowl and add your onions, corn and mayonnaise mix all the ingredient together
- Cover and refrigerate
Tips / Notes
The ingredients I used were already in my fridge, but you can easily add peppers or any of your favourite salad vegetables. I like to use penne pasta, though any shape works well. Farfalle (bow ties) looks particularly nice if you’re making it for guests at a barbecue. Add mayonnaise to taste, along with more or less tuna depending on your preference, it’s also such an easy recipe to adjust to suit your tastes.
